Thank you again to everyone who participated in or donated to our all-day I ♥ My Library fundraiser on May 20th!In effort to supplement funding for our Children's and Young Adult departments, the Bellevue Public Library held a day of fun and fundraising, with special events from 9:00 to 7:00, 12 themed raffle baskets, library heart buttons for $1, and free face painting, popcorn, and ice cream!
Our fundraiser was part of the third annual Omaha Gives! nonprofit fundraiser challenge, organized by the Omaha Community Foundation. From midnight to midnight, any donations made to the Bellevue Public Library were recognized as a part of this event and were eligible for a percentage match from Omaha Gives! (for more information, please go here).Thanks to your generosity, the library was able to raise approximately ♥ $4500! ♥
