Here's your aforementioned surprise opportunity to read books and win prizes: the Unmask! Book Review Contest!
♦ Eligible participants: 7th-12th grade & 2015 high school graduates
Enter a book review, get a prize entry! All you need to do is:
1) Read any Young Adult book!
It can be your personal copy or a title checked out from our print or digital collections--as long as it's YA. Graphic novels and audiobooks count!
2) Complete a book review sheet!
You may enter a total of two book reviews for prize entries. (1 review = 1 prize entry)
Come to our Front Desk, say 'Hey! I want to join the contest!,' and choose your sheet!

You will also receive a superhero sucker at this time, to fortify you in your reviewing efforts!:
Return your finished reviews to the Front Desk and I, your YA Librarian, will enter you into the prize drawing (more information on the prizes below).
• Reviewing an Unmask! display book (whose titles are...masked. See below!) counts as two prize entries. Participants may check out two display books, but may only review one.
• Your reviews may be displayed in the YA area! Was your book the best/most average/worst read ever? Let other people know!
• Each book review sheet comes with this small attachment covering basic contest rules, guidelines for certain parts of the book review, and a complete prize listing (on back):
